This has to be my favorite shoot to date! A couple posts back, I mentioned that styled photo shoots are super fun because you get to see the ideas in your mind play out in the environment right in front of you. To be honest, I didn't even know if everything would look right until I put it together, but it all turned out quite well. And I've discovered a new love of not only photographing weddings & shoots, but planning and designing them too (future aspiration maybe?? ;) ha! ). Fashion, styling & design were my passions before I discovered my love for photography, so using them all together is an over-explosive amount of creative energy that is just so fun!
Curating the props for this session took a TON of organization; florals were provided by some VERY talented ladies, I carried all of the furniture from my house, to the truck, to the field and my mom--the extremely generous lady that she is--made the wedding cake (definitely paying her to make one for my own wedding some day...homemade is the best!)! Using my late grandmother's dishware was also really special to me!
The lighting was at golden hour and oh-so dreamy! Ashley was the perfect model; this girl is so beautiful inside and out and she certainly knew how to work the camera for sure. One day, she will be a beautiful real, true bride.
So without further ado, see the what I've been babbling on about for the passed several months!!! ENJOY! :)
